Florida Highway Safety and Motor Vehicles

My issue fell in between the lines and the information on the websites were not helpful. I needed to.speak with someone.

I called at 8am, 9am, and 10am, to be automatically hung up on afyer an hour. Tried visiting the DMV with and without and appointment and still had to wait in long lines and experienced staff that were not cordial, trained well or knowledge. For a walkin, I had to arrive at 2:30 am to find there were over 50 eople ahead of me.

For my scheduled appointment it took 2 and half hours to get an ID. I have lived in NJ, California, and Delaware, and Florida DMV is the worst organized, poorly trained, and poorly staff.

I attended the Pembroke Pines FHSMV today. The two ladies at the front were treating me, and the rest of the customers, worse than a despised animal.

After standing in line with an appointment reserved online, they ignored my presence. One lady started screaming at me, insisting that I had to line up again for no apparent reason. I asked her politely to lower her voice, but she continued to humiliate me in front of all the customers. I am very upset, due to the fact that a few weeks ago, I attended the same place in my uniform, with my credentials identifying me as an MD, and they treated me royally.

Today, however, was a humiliating experience.

They even denied me the opportunity to speak with a manager. It's a very discriminatory place.

I went to the DMV in Pembroke Pines today (11/13/2024) to pick up my CDL. The dog *** faced woman that was working outside to admit customers inside refused to let me go inside due to her abusing her position and blatantly ignoring the clearly listed accepted criteria for proof of address.

I brought in a copy of my lease agreement, my drivers license, my vehicle registration, a copy of my FPL bill, cell phone bill, and credit card bill. She told me that the copy of my lease I had 'would not be accepted', giving no clear reason why, and said that none of my other proofs of address meant anything. The list of approved documents allows for a class E drivers license, vehicle registration, cell phone bill, among other things. She disregarded everything I brought and told me I needed to bring a proper lease agreement.

I asked to speak to a supervisor and she turned her back and walked away from me, and I asked for her name and she refused.

She is literally interfering with me picking up my CDL. I really want for something to be done about this ignorant, disrespectful THING of a person.

Yesterday at 10pm me and my son were in the line to do the learners permit, we were the first ones there and stayed there until they opened then when the Security officer and the manager came to open the gates she began to insult me because in her words he didnt see my son that has been waiting with me the whole night and proceeded to let everyone else in and disregard my attempts to tell her we were in the line and we had photo proof that we were there but with the biggest attitude and screaming at me she told me that she not going to let me in because I guess she just didnt feel like it And when I keep trying to explain that we were in line and that we have been here she still didnt care and proceed to scream at me and I feel like she was going to do something to harm me in front of my son who was scared that this point that something was going to happen we called the police and they said because she didnt actually do something they couldnt do anything even though I felt threatened. This is unacceptable how you should treat people especially in front of my child that is under age and to anyone else I had video proof and everything that I was there and she still disrespected me and decided to treat me and my son like this. This is not the first time something like this has happened where k have heard by people there that they were treated terribly as well one of these storys I heard people saying was when a man who doesnt know English came and she was trying to give directions telling him what to do in English that again this man did not know she proceeded to grab him by his shirt and drag the man out of the way out of the DMV I hope that someone would do the right thing and take he out of the line of work shes in because no like her should be anywhere close to that line of work .
